GPT seems unsupported
Hi, can someone confirm if this device support GPT?
I have attached 4Tb HDD with data on it, disk recognized as "Healthy (GPT Protective Partition)" on Windows 10 / Asus G74S.
Looking through some internet discussions this may caused by USB envelope not supporting GPT.
well, manufacturer says " support drives 3TB and more" as i know MBR work only to 2TB, so it should work with GPT.
can you try it on some other OS? i just found 1 topic on MS forum, that some guy had a same problem as you do, but it looks like its on win10 only.

Scooping through Internet discussions, finally believe this is a problem that cannot be solved by myself.
The problem is reporting of physical sector size on HDD. When connected through SATA it is 4k, when connected through USB adapter it is 512 bytes. As a result, HDD looks like not correctly formatted.

I don't want to edit HDD info directly because it is very risky to lost information this way. Will have to wait for opportunity to again connect HDD directly to SATA to retrieve info.
