Docking station without charging laptop?!?!
Can someone please confirm if this new docking station is meant to charge a laptop or do I have to get an extra power supply for my office since the USB charging port on docking station does not charge laptop but yes it is good enough to charge my phone which is useless as it is a laptop I need to get charged while I work...

Since this dock does not have USB-C, which is the only USB option to charge a laptop, I guess the answer is no, unfortunately. There is 45W power brick in the package, but this is to charge the dock itself, not laptop. You would have to use two power bricks - one for the laptop, another one for the dock.
