PROS:
This mouse has a great ergonomic shape for me. I have larger than average hands(but not huge in any way), and I use a claw grip with mice. The rubber grip on the thumb rest is very ***** and even though it's smooth on the right side where I hold it with my pinky, the mouse never slips and I can use it for prolonged periods of time (4+hrs) without fatigue. The left and right buttons have very light resistance, making repeated mouse clicks effortless, but still support the weight of my fingers resting casually without making accidental clicks. The side buttons are great, the fact that they are vertical makes them (for me at least) more intuitive to use in games. The scroll wheel has a nice rubber texture and pattern that allow smooth scrolling and it has just enough resistance to allow fast scrolling without accidentally clicking the wheel in.
The laser tracking is great. This thing has tracked on every soft surface I've tried, though I haven't tried a hard mouse pad as I don't own one. In the mouse software, I have all DPI modes set to 500hz polling rate(you can pick 125, 500 and 1000hz), and I personally always have it running at 2000dpi, which I find to be the best for both fast tracking and accurate control, though I also tend to use the low 800dpi setting for pixel precise Photoshop editing. The DPI settings step from 800, 1200, 1600, 2000 and 3200dpi.

CONS:
The only real cons I can find for this mouse are that : 1)It only has 1 button for DPI selection. That makes it cumbersome to try to switch DPI settings in games like first-person shooters, for people that like to quickly switch from low DPI for sniping, to fast DPI for normal aiming. I don't ever do this, so I personally don't find it a problem. 2)The mouse for some may be on the light side, and the cord is a bit stiff, so it may at some point move around when you don't want it to. 3)The side buttons, although they are well positioned, feel a bit cheap, and personally, I think the bottom bottom needs to protrude further out. The top button is perfectly flush as it rises along the thumb area, but because the rubber thumb grip curves up a bit where it meets the bottom button, you'll often feel like you're pressing a button, but instead are just pushing down on the rubber lip. If this were different, the bottom button would be perfect.

Overall, this is a great gaming mouse, cheap, accurate and with most of the features higher end gaming mice possess (different profile selection, switchable DPI settings, nice LED lighting), though it lacks extra programmable buttons and no on-board memory for profile selection (done with the software). I'd highly recommend this mouse to anyone who wants the same basic performance of a good high grade gaming mouse, but with a significantly lower price tag. A definite 4 star for overall value.
